Immigration agents knocking at the door? Now, theres an app for that, too.
United We Dream, the largest national immigrant youth-led organization, has officially launched a smartphone application that added yet another tool to protect immigrants living in the U.S. illegally by utilizing high tech and online social communications.
The app, called Notifica, allows immigrants here illegally to activate a plan if they come in contact with immigration law enforcement authorities or find themselves at risk of being detained.
Users can prepare a set of automatic messages to alert with one click family members, lawyers and others if they, or someone they care about, encounter immigration enforcement authorities. The tool was developed last year and distributed on a small scale and is now available for the public on Google and Apple apps stores.

I want an app where I make money calling ICE and bagging these illegal pukes like Crime Stoppers.
Apple, in particular, manages its app store very closely for illegal activity. I wonder if they are going to continue offering apps that aid and abet felons.
Fred may be a bit busy. Note that he is the only guy working.
That’s brilliant, then all ICE has to do is subpoena the records of all the downloads, and track those devices to find the illegals. A one stop shop for deportation.
Aiding and abetting?
Lets have ICE hack into it to find these rodents and kick them out of our country
“Users can prepare a set of automatic messages to alert with one click family members, lawyers and others...”
I’m a CHP holder, and I can see the case when this kind of app might be very handy.
...added yet another tool to protect immigrants living in the U.S. illegally...
I stopped reading right there.
ICE raids should include jamming cell phones. We need to deport all illegals. No exceptions.
Damn... someone should have made an app like this, where an illegal can enter all their information - including contact information for all their friends and family.
Then just feed that data over to ICE so they can round up all of them. That would have been brilliant.
The Leftists at Apple would never allow it in their Apple store, although a generalized "I've been arrested" app would probably pass scrutiny.
A CHP could even use the ICE app.
It seemed like the idea of an app mailing messages to multiple people was a good one, so I looked it up. Among other features, it wipes out the contact list after you notify the people...
Being shot dead the second they set foot on US soil illegally would be the worst case scenario. Being given government freebies for the rest of their lives is far from bad.
I looked it up after you replied. Except for the fact that a bunch of illegals and their supporters get info about me and my contacts, and they’ll use that info to contact me unless I specifically tell them not to do so, it sounds good. I like the part about wiping the contacts after using the app, and their promise to resist turning over data to the government. The location feature is a good idea, too. I’ll have to get my Virginia Citizens Defense League guys or maybe my CHP insurance/lawyer guys to set one up.
Then again, maybe I’ll just sign up as Juan Valdez or Jose Jimenez or Speedy Gonzales.
