President Trump on Wednesday called special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into the president’s possible obstruction of justice in the ongoing federal probe of the Trump campaign’s contacts with Russia a “setup” and a “trap.”
Trump has for months complained about the probe, which he has repeatedly labeled a “witch hunt.” He did so again Wednesday morning.
“There was no Collusion (it is a Hoax) and there is no Obstruction of Justice (that is a setup & trap),” Trump tweeted. “What there is is Negotiations going on with North Korea over Nuclear War, Negotiations going on with China over Trade Deficits, Negotiations on NAFTA, and much more. Witch Hunt!”
Trump’s tweet comes amid multiple reports that his lawyers and the special counsel are heading toward a possible legal showdown over an interview Mueller wants to conduct with the commander in chief.
On Tuesday night, the Washington Post reported that Mueller raised possibility of presidential subpoena during a “tense” early March meeting with Trump’s legal team.
“Trump’s lawyers insisted he had no obligation to talk with federal investigators probing Russia’s interference in the 2016 presidential campaign,” the Post reported. “But Mueller responded that he had another option if Trump declined: He could issue a subpoena for the president to appear before a grand jury.”
CNN reported that Trump’s legal team is bracing for the possibility of the case ultimately going to the Supreme Court.

The USSC has no more authority on this matter than Mueller does. UNLESS they confirm the doctrine of Separation of Powers and deflate Mueller.
POTUS must refuse all further cooperation with the Special Counsel. No meetings with lawyers, no "interviews" and absolutely MUST NOT even acknowledge a subpoena.
Let's bring this to head and force Mueller to present what he has, today, to the US Congress.

If Mueller does this he admits he is only interested in overturning an election and should be charged with treason and immediately arrested.

I generally agree. They also are screwing Around with the idea of criminal charges being brought by New York state’s Communist Attorney General. Even if the president appears before a grand jury he should not be afraid to take the 5th amendment and just let the chips fall where they will he can deal with this politically.
Despite all the RINO hand wringers that say Trump should shut up, listen to his lawyers, not attack Mueller, and let the investigation play out. I believe President Trump is doing exactly the right thing. He’s smart enough to realize the same thing Bill Clinton realized (and Richard Nixon did not) . Special Counsel investigations and potential impeachment are NOT beaten in a court of law or even in Congress. They are won in the court of public opinion. So essentially President Trump is running a campaign against Mueller and fighting him with the same campaign playbook he used to defeat all the other candidates in 2016. Trump realizes that if he can destroy Mueller’s aura of independence and seeming above the fray, he can paint him as just another deep state partisan hack and any results of his investigation will also be tainted with the same brush and therefore be dismissed outright by a large plurality of the electorate. He doesn’t need all of them, even if he can convince 35%, that will be enough to ensure 67 senators don’t dare vote to remove him.
This is true. It’s time to get this over with, if for no other reason than if they force president Trump out of office, we will never have a Republican president again. Republicans will be resisted, protested, charged spuriously, and removed. In other words, they will have effectively eliminated the election process, which is their goal, then it’s full forward into Communism or Civil War.
How can Trump’s subordinate, Mueller, order Trump to do a damn thing.
This is not a justiciable claim, representing entirely a dispute within the Executive of which Trump is the only sole and exclusive power. Trump is declining the subpoena issued in his own name, which he is free to simply rescind.
IOW - no evidence of “collusion” - so all they can do is push the narrative about “obstruction of an investigation” relating to a non-existing crime.
Mueller having Trump’s attorney raided and harassed was way over the line.
This must end. Time for Trump to fire his ass and depend on us to have his back.

If POTUS even recognizes the Special Counsel has the authority to demand interview, or bring him before a Grand Jury, he has already lost.
Recognize the ONLY Constitutional authority over POTUS, which is the US Congress.
Then the left will scream impeachment in unison.
So far Mueller has proven to be trite, small-minded, mean and petulant in his open ended quest to ambush the president. Their failure is making them furious and determined to make something out of nothing. Their Democrat sponsors keep pressing them to find something, anything!
There is something wrong with our system of government and the Republicans if they continue to permit this charade to continue. It will not be the Democrats; they are the sponsors and cheering squad, along with their media partners.
It is beyond belief and outrageous how the real abusers and colluders and obstructors of justice seem to roam free to continue their pretense that there was collusion by the President.
The evidence that the Democrats have no respect for our Constitution is orders of magnitude greater than the morsels that the Democrats and media are magnifying one hundred fold. Disgusting. When will it end?
To be honest with you all, IMHO, POTUS Trump has already easily won his case in the hearts and minds of millions of American voters. The course that Mueller has chosen will only end in obth failure and rejection by the vast majority of american voters.
What Mueller may accomplish however, is the total destruction of the DOJ/FBI as we now know it. I suggest that Attorney General, Jeff Sessions order Deputy. Attorney General, Rod Rosenstein to immediate shut down the entire Mueller probe. If Rosenstein refuses to do so, then, Sessions should undo his own recuse, fire Rosenstein and close down Muller and his Democrat lap dogs.
I can assure you all, only the lunatic “Trump” haters will go bonkers. The rest of the majority of Americans will be quite pleased. The Democrat/Republican Establishment creatures of the swamp...not so many!!!

It’s taken awhile, but articles are beginning to percolate up on Mueller’s sordid, corrupt, and incompetent past. Mueller has kept innocent men in prison to help keep murdering crime bosses like Whitey Bulger out of prison. He drove the scientist Steven Hatfill to suicide by trying to frame him for the anthrax letter plot, when Hatfill was the one who was trying to help the FBI solve the case. Mueller is a criminal. His only purpose in life is to run cover for the corrupt FBI.

First, there is definitely conspiracy within the FBI and DOJ
That conspiracy extends to Brenner and Clapper. Then it extends to Schiff. At some point the conspiracy can become a RICCO action.
The conspiracy permeates the government at all levels from a lowly clerk up to the various tops. It likely includes persons within the Obama White House.
Everybody knows that fact. There are strong, perhaps extreme efforts for the conspiracy to prevail.
I’m certain that Trump knows the game is for all the marbles.

RIP Van Sessions needs to wake his butt up and fire Mueller and end this farce.
So Supreme Court has to decide to allow a subpoena on a sitting President to sit in a fish tank as Mueller dangles bate to try to entrap the President for Obstructing an investigation into a non crime that never happened?
Mueller is POTUS’ subordinate. USSC has no controlling authority here. Tell Mueller to go pound sand. Either he has evidence of collusion now or his case is done. You’re fired!
It is what it has always been, a grand fishing expedition.
Give Mueller te chance to fail before the Supreme Court and finalize the principle that they cannot subpoena a president for a non-crime on the job just because he is succeeding in the job that the voters elected him to do.
