More than six in ten Hispanic likely midterm voters say they want legal immigration levels — the United States admits one to 1.5 million legal immigrants a year — reduced to anywhere between zero and 750,000 legal immigrants a year.
According to the latest polling data by The Polling Company, commissioned by NumbersUSA, Americans are vastly opposed to current levels of legal immigration and want the number of foreign nationals legally arriving in the U.S. seriously cut, a plan that is supported by President Trump.
The pro-mass immigration Koch brothers, specifically, have attempted to steer GOP midterm campaigns in the direction of focusing on tax reform rather than Trump’s popular plan to cut legal immigration. The Koch-Ryan-Pence effort is designed to keep the Republican Party in line with their big business donors, who have profited for decades from wage-crushing mass immigration.
Trump, though, reportedly finds the plan to run on tax reform “boring,” and instead is planning to stick to his populist immigration and trade agenda, both with a message to reduce foreign competition to America’s workers and businesses.
And some Republicans’ midterm campaigns across the U.S. have bucked the GOP establishment’s plan to run on tax reform.
For example, Ohio congressional candidate Christina Hagan lost out on endorsements from the billionaire Koch brothers’ network of organizations, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Club for Growth, insiders tell Breitbart News, for her support in cutting legal immigration and leveling out trade deals to benefit American workers.

Legal immigrants hate illegals
I’ve been trying to pound this point home since the mid 1990s.
The Republicans have run like scolded dogs from this battle.
Who are the first people to lose jobs to an illegal alien? It’s the legal immigrants who have just gotten a foot up on a decent job and a sound future.
Along come illegals who will do the job for half the price.
Think legals like that? Ha!
I’d like a list of those “big businesses” that want unrestricted immigration. While I’m sure we’d find plenty of Country Club Republicans, I’d wager to say there are plenty of left wing maggot companies pushing for H1-B visas, etc.

I frequent three Florida counties every year—sometimes four. The number of recent foreigners (and Muslims) must be double what the Government says.
Well, most of them don’t really hate illegals. But I worked with quite a few in west Denver, descended from Chihuahua State, who are socially conservative and very proud to be Americans.
Just to clarify, they didn’t like illegals who only came for the money, either.
Remember election day around 8pm when the Dems got gleeful over the early exit polls showing a big surge in the Hispanic vote? They thought that spelled doom for Trump and they had it in the bag. This is a major reason why they were wrong, and that Trump got much more of that vote then they expected.
It wasn’t just the white working class turnout that led to Trump’s eventual victory - it was also much larger margins among women and minorities that they thought possible - and I’m sure in 2020 he’ll get even more - especially among Blacks and Hispanics - then he did last time. So yeah, I agree and also think he hits 350 ECV easily!
My wife is one of them.
It’s like less competition at the Walmart on Black Friday.
I have been saying this for years while the Bush League Republicans have been trying to convince US that the only solution was surrender of the country with amnesty.
And 80+% want illegal immigration stopped.
