New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman is out after the New Yorker published bombshell allegations that he had assaulted multiple women, so of course the speculation as already begun as to who will step into the job next. In answering the question of who will replace Eric Schneiderman, some people are saying Hillary Clinton should. Due to multiple issues with Clinton as a potential pick, though, it's almost certain that those people's dream will never come true.
So far, Newsday has reported that the state legislature, which has the power to appoint a new attorney general, has not given any indication as to who their pick could be. In the meantime, the the state solicitor general, Barbara Underwood, will step up to fill the position of acting attorney general in a temporary capacity, as the legislature makes its decision. According to Newsday, the legislature could simply keep Underwood in that position, but they will be unlikely to pass up the rare opportunity they now have to appoint an attorney general.

Her license to practice lapsed, and she may never have had one in New York.
It would get her off the street.
Does NY have Uranium 1 that she can sell?
If not it’s a deal breaker.

Even if it meant having a platform to persecute Trump.
Oh, of course, Hillary Clinton because of her extensive experience with law enforcement.
