Another busy day, but good. Checked out the SS office. Easy to get to, no parking. Across the street is a “pay to park” lot. Never used one, so parked and read the instructions....what a waste of time. I’ll leave home at 9a...hopefully the rush hour traffic for all the government workers will be over. All the government buildings are downtown. All the court folks should be at work, as all jury summons require one to be at the respective courthouse before 8a.

AJ texted...he will be going back to work. He will be here about 10p Wednesday night. I got all the empty boxes, from Peg’s visit, into the closet, so the guest room is good to go. He doesn’t know how long he will be in town...”got a job of unknown duration in town, then to Kuparuk (the slope). Supposedly...”

Pulled some weeds....I will be looking to hire someone. Got all the watering done in the back and on the seed....no signs of life. *sigh*.

Will finish homework in the morning, and try to get threads done for the next 2 weeks.

Any local events for you?

Well, as long as it was a good day, that’s what counts. Glad you ignored homework today. :-)

Sounds like getting to the SS office shouldn’t be bad. Is there street parking in that area so you won’t have to use that parking lot?

So AJ’s heading back up that way, is he? Good time to head up there to escape the heat. LOL! It’s been pretty toasty in this part of the country and it’s hotter farther south where he lives.

Bummer the grass seed isn’t coming up yet. It might just take a little longer to germinate up there. Don’t give up hope!

There were some local events around the area yesterday. I didn’t go to any of them because I was expected at the museum at 10:00. I’ve been to Memorial Day events in the past at three towns close by and they all do an excellent job.

And fortunately, the weather behaved yesterday and none were rained out.
