....”while American citizens are still unemployed”....

Now wait a minute...if they’re unemployed than why is it the numbers are so low and employeer’s are complaining a shortage of workers????

Are we not to believe that America is back to working as is so often reported?

The labor market is not orderly. It’s chaos.

First, stop using the phrase, human resources. New hires are people—not meat. Personnel is a better word. Our forefathers were right about our language.

Next, dump the incompetent, psychopathic managers. Hiring shouldn’t be limited to retarded, foreign, extremely obese, short people, bald people or people who sell illegal drugs. Those “arrogant,” “white,” young, tall, clean-cut American “males” would do just fine. ;-)

And quit stuffing well educated, old, crippled men into jobs that require lifting 80 lb. loads throughout a shift. And shut down the unnecessary overnight and rotating shifts. Those shifts—especially at pay that doesn’t support home air conditioning—are very unhealthy for most people, whose busybody neighbors and other nags won’t let them sleep during the day.

Seriously, there are good employees out there. But personal biases, bad habits, laziness, vanity or general crookedness shouldn’t be allowed to get in the way.

As for over the road truck driving, it takes a special kind of man to do that: one who has no family, doesn’t want one and wants to see the world without any sleep. And for driving in large metro areas, managers will simply have to settle for the descendants of the criminal hordes that their forefathers brought in from other countries and cultures. Because that’s the pool of labor around large, dangerous, crime-infested metro areas.

The labor market is chaos. That’s what workers who made it through long periods of recession due to traitorous trade policies needed to learn. Employers can learn it, too...or throw labor visa tantrums and pollute the labor pool yet more.
