I read his "While Europe Slept" a few years ago, and was impressed. Since Bawer is a homosexual activist, I am no more in sympathy with all of his beliefs than I am with those of Tommy Robinson. Still, I take his views seriously, and he speaks up when many on the liberal/left remain silent or even actively cooperate with the enemies of our civilization.

Whatever Tommy Robinson's past misdeeds might be, the way in which this most recent situation was handled was appalling, and - without exaggeration - corresponded exactly to the methods of a totalitarian police state.
