The Trump administration has shut down an Obama-era loophole that let immigrants who otherwise could not legally enter the U.S. claim a free pass by saying they were “entrepreneurs.”
The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, part of the Department of Homeland Security, announced an end to the program, claiming former President Barack Obama overstepped his powers in creating it.
The administration also said that the program that let immigrant small businessmen and women enter was a threat to U.S. workers, a key focus of the White House.
While those let in under Obama might have felt their immigration status was open-ended, the Trump administration said it is not and at the end of their “temporary” status the immigrants will be required to return home.

Add to the list nasty Brazilians in Tampa FL who work under the table pay no taxes get all of the welfare $$$ benefits through their anchor baby adult children, then go out to dinner every night, drive fancy new trucks, threaten you, and are hired to perform housing renovations (siding, windows, stucco, roofing etc) without ever bothering to pull the required construction permits. BTW they don’t speak English either, but since when has THAT ever been a disqualifier in a sanctuary city?

There is a visa for entrepreneurs. If you’re a legitimate entrepreneur, apply for an EB-5 visa.
Your description of the under-the-table Brazilian contractors who collect welfare benefits while having fancy trucks, work without permits, etc sounds like the Irish Travelers in S Carolina, Mississippi and parts of E Texas...

The idea here is that under BO people who could not enter ‘legally’, came in anyway/given a pass if they simply claimed they were “entrepreneurs.” .....
This was just another one of BO’S abuses of power to bring in “illegals”....Trump shut that program down...if he had not closed that gap a wall would not have stopped them coming in under that program.
