I agree it is not a good excuse and no matter how painful this all needs exposing and prosecuting but I am just telling you what I think is really happening behind closed doors in DC. Decisions are being made by people in power about whether to expose all the corruption and trying to foresee consequences....those people like their power, somehow I do not see them doing the painful thing that saves the US....but the thing that saves the status quo.
