Tucker Carlson criticized for warning Fox News viewers about ‘big news stations’
The Hill ^ | 06/16/18 | Luis Sanchez

Fox News host Tucker Carlson is being criticized for telling his viewers on Friday night that they should distrust news reports from the “big news stations.”

“If you're looking to understand what's actually happening in this country, always assume the opposite of whatever they're telling you on the big news stations,” Carlson said, despite Fox News sitting on top of the cable news ratings for 197 consecutive months.

His comments led some to poke fun at his apparent contradiction and to also note the damage such comments can have on the public trust in journalism.

CNN’s Brian Stelter called the comments "sad," while Michael Barbaro at The New York Times called them “repugnant” and “literally damaging to our democracy.”

LOL.

The elite satanists (Marxists/irrational “utopians” (sodomites/Baphomet/Crowley “Sex MAgick” where sodomy is a virtue and Boys are Girls—total irrationality/removal of Natural Laws/God’s Laws/Constitution)) have been controlling our MSM for 100 years. Tucker is controlled like EVERYONE who is on a MAJOR “news” show. (But since he is part of the Hegelian Dialectic (like a CIA-operative like Rush Limbaugh/William F. Buckley), he is allowed to go to the “Right” for the Overton Window effect).

The MSM Mind Controls the masses, and gets us into all the wars and depressions to make the elites filthy wealthy and destroy the minds (morals) of our children as they tighten the screws (literally) so they will have TOTAL CONTROL of ALL THE MINDS OF YOUR CHILDREN. (The public schools HAVE TO BE PUT BACK TO LOCAL CONTROL and CLASSICAL CURRICULA ONLY!!!!)

As Ray Bradbury stated-—MSM is to keep us addicted and distracted from the Truth (God)-—so the elites can totally control us...all our resources, all ideas “we think”—and every emotion (about “good” and “evil”) that we have (our “religion”—the State is god which is embedded into all your children-—little socialist David Hogg’s where sodomizing “boys” is normalized again (like with Milo/Baphomet/slave cultures/Afghanistan).

The Thinking Public already doesn’t trust so called journalists. Can’t do anything but wake more people up to the lies of the big ABC< NBC< CBS< CNN goofballs.

That was lost long before this. Close the barn door "after" the livestock has left.

Like Russians watching Pravda. They know it is all lies. Yet they watch it anyway. Whatever Pravda says, they know the opposite is true.

This comment is actually what fake news looks like...a fabrication that plays to the confirmation bias of its intended audience.

Have you ever seen Brian Stelter and George Costanza together. Maybe someone should ask Brian about “shrinkage!”

On Thursday we had the double misfortune of going to the E.R. at the local hospital. First misfortune: DH needed to see a doctor. Second misfortune — torture, actually: MSNBC was on the waiting room TV. Joe and Mika discussing the IG Report. Gave “statistics” that more people trust the MSM than trust the President.

It was just too much to bear. I went to the car and took a nap.

People would do well to pay attention to how the media describes its own products. They produce stories, narratives, shows. In other words, entertainment. They are actors and story spinners who use current events only as a framework for what they are actually selling.

“Fox News host Tucker Carlson is being criticized for telling his viewers on Friday night that they should distrust news reports from the “big news stations.””

Tucker is absolutely correct, of course; but let me guess: Tucker is being criticized by the “big news stations”, right?

“He shouldn’t have made that claim without giving a bunch of examples.”

he doesn’t have that much air time, and besides it was a throw-away line that we here say thousands of times a week, because anyone who has watched even a couple of random minutes of CNN knows its true.

and besides, even if he gave examples the leftist fake stream media would just say those were the only times and that they were “honest mistakes” ...

He’s right, notwithstanding that his news station employs the likes of Shep Smith.

I loved when President Trump, in last two press gagles, asked a questioner who they worked for after they asked stupid question. Both times they answered CNN. Gave President opportunity to say “Fake News”. You can tell how bias the news organization is by the question their reporters ask.

I guess Luis Sanchez is too stupid to know what Tucker was referring to as the big stations.

The funny thing is these blowhards trying to claim they have something to do with “democracy”. Horsechit. Lying (which they do constantly), does not support “democracy”.

There is a reason the public does not trust the MSM by all polling results. Its even less trusted or believed than Congress which the public has long hated.

I didn't know that there was any. Thanks for the breaking news...

Don’t we have enough lawyer jokes?

Why don’t we focus on creating journalists and reporters jokes with all the creativity on Free Republic?
