He erred and then corrected. We have big battles ahead and need to follow Trump’s example and welcome those who are on board now. Petty fights amongst ourselves distract from addressing the bigger issues. Attack George Will and others fighting us. Not those who have seen the light.
Well said words of wisdom. Unfortunately, based upon what Ive seen, that wisdom will be lost on the crowd of less wise, less discerning and, frankly, foolish FReepers amongst us who wish to engage in self-destructive intramural warfare.
I hope people are waking up to the fact that we almost lost our country for keeps. A couple of these recent decisions gone the other way and we would have had civil war between the globalists and the socialists fighting for whose pie it was.
At least now we have a good chance to take our country back. We have to fight and we will have to fight hard through some difficult battles to come because the crony capitalists and the globalists our inside the wire of our camp. Fortunately they go where they are by being incompetent... and sick.
Levin blamed leftist violence on Trump supporters. Levin helped create todays toxic society. Nothing has been corrected.
You are correct.
Though a few of that faction are still active in their back-stabbing, more than a few are trying to bury the hatchet, and it does us no good to push away the ones that are coming to their senses.
I haven’t been over to National Review in a long time
What are David French and Kevin Williamson saying these days??
I agree, he strayed, but he’s back with us. NOt like that POS Glenn Beck or George Will and countless others, oh yeah Mike Lee too.
We need Mark Levin back on our side.
“Attack George Will and others fighting us. Not those who have seen the light.”
Oh, we will let them fight for us. We will accept their support, BUT we will NEVER trust them and they will NEVER be totally forgiven.
“We have big battles ahead and need to follow Trumps example and welcome those who are on board now.”
True!
The way I see it, there’s only one way to make 2020 a Reagan style landslide for Trump, and that’s to welcome the support of 20 or 30 million people who did NOT vote for him in 2016.
These are exactly the people we want to get on the Trump Train. I say make room for them, offer them a seat, welcome them with kind words and open arms.
If we turn up our noses out of spite and shame them for getting it wrong in 2016, that’s no different then Clinton calling us “the deplorables” or Obama calling us “the bitter clingers”.
We can form an exclusive club of early Trump supporters and exclude anyone who wasn’t on board before a certain date - I’m sure there are a lot of FReepers who would like that - but that’s no way to spark a landslide in 2020.
