I intend to shoot back. My dad estimated that about forty of our relatives were murdered by the real Nazis in the Holocaust, including my great grandfather at the age of 90. I have personally known other relatives and friends who survived, by some miracle. I also have known family friends, as well as an uncle, who fought them.
If I find myself in the company of someone who calls Trump supporters Nazis, I intend to repeat the above paragraph.
A good friend of mine mentioned something the other day
“I tell my liberal friends that my people were kicked up of Germany BEFORE the two world wars.”
Most of mine were too. I did some research and found quite of few of my extended relations ran into trouble with the Kaiser and then the Nazi for having authority issues.
Amen to all that.
