The highest ranking lawyer in the Justice Department and top aide to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, Scott Schools, is stepping down from his position.

Scott Schools helps Rosenstein oversee the ever expanding Mueller witch hunt.

Scott Schools spent 27 years in the Department of Justice and will be replaced, on an acting basis, by Bradley Weinsheimer, who currently works in the national security unit,...

...Although Schools insists he is leaving on his own volition to work in the private sector, it may be because Rosenstein is facing impeachment and contempt charges.

GOP lawmakers passed a resolution earlier this week giving DAG Rosenstein 7 days to turn over requested classified documents or face impeachment.

The Mueller witch hunt is also taking a beating in court from an unsuspecting source, one of the indicted Russian companies in the junk bot case.

Mueller and Rosenstein are on borrowed time and it appears Scott Schools knows this and exited stage left before he was forced out....

Clearly, the Demorat conspirators are leaving Obama's Department for the Obstruction of Justice.

Unfortunately for Rosencriminal, Mueller, Hillary & Obama, they can't run away from scandal nearly as easily....

.... as they all remain highly vulnerable to a full criminal investigation by a potential second special prosecutor investigating all enemies of the United States involved in the Uranium One bribery/treason kickback scheme.....

.....And, unfortunately, for the citizens of the United States, the U.S Government no longer hangs traitors by the neck until dead.

Perhaps we now know who was personally making decisions on crazy DOJ redactions/concealments such as Strzok’s Tweet asserting “we” will “stop” Trump?

Frankly, I wouldn’t let the SOB get more than an arms length from DOJ grasp. But, then again, I’m not Sessions.

A.G. Jeff Sessions is likely being blackmailed into inactivity by DOJ as a result of bogus allegations related to the Mueller witch hunt..........

Apparently, the coward has chosen to ignore his honorable role to defend the President in order to avoid any charges related to lying to Obama’s fully partisan & corrupt FBI inquisition.

Schools should still be subject to a congressional or grand jury subpoena/summons.

Any legal beagles know the “exacts” about this. As far as I know, he’s till fair game for Congress.

If one is at the top of a successful prosecution you do not step down for the private sector. If the prosecution could be successful you would become the absolute top dog of lawyers in the nation. You would have taken The President down.

He is running from what he knows is coming down in September. September is when Trump will declassify all as is his absolute authority. If the Justice Department will not release what he wants declassified he will fire them the next morning and keep firing each and ever one beneath those fired until an underling will release the information that is no longer declassified by presidential direction.

I think I will enjoy September but two months before the midterm elections.

Trump knows how to play hard ball. He has not come up to bat nor thrown the first pitch yet. He is a multi billionaire and is a winner regardless of what happens. Trump does not need to be political nor soft. Oddly he can do what he thinks is right not subject to the normal politics of the past. He scares the hell out of the swamp.

The United States Congress controls the greatest sum of money that is controlled and dispersed in the world. That is what the Swamp is really about. Each denzion of the Swamp is really about controlling and using this great pot of money for political and personal gain.

They always say their actions are for the benefit of all. They are simply liars and these liars are both left and right. They are democrats, republicans and all those that want the power of the congressional purse. They are gusanos which is Spanish for worms in English. However, in Spanish it carries the connotation of great vile and contempt. It is something that must just be stepped on.

I wonder if Schools is one of the people Rosenstein threw under the bus last week when asked about the FISA renewal.

“We rarely hanged traitors and both times in hindsight it was more political than jurisprudence.”

Good point.

Despite Trump’s hilarious “because you’d be in jail” debate zinger, I doubt he ever had any intention of prosecuting members of the Obama administration for their crimes.

A Republican POTUS using his executive branch to go after criminals in the prior Democrat administration is going to be seen as political retaliation, whether it is or not.

That’s why I think it’s Trump who’s behind the inaction of the DOJ. He wants to crimes to be exposed, and the criminals to be publicly shamed, but it has to be the court of public opinion that hands down the verdict, not Trump’s DOJ.

I wish the Clintons and Obama’s would get locked up - they deserve it - but rather than make martyrs out of them, and cast Trump as an authoritarian, and begin another Democrat vs Republican revenge cycle - it might be better for the Republic if the consequences were purely political - an indelible stain on the Democrat party that results in their corrupt brand of politics and politicians being shunned by the electorate.

Trump has a knack for branding his enemies and rendering them impotent. If he could do that to the Left - I’d be satisfied.

(Although I really wanted to see some Democrats go to prison)

The honorable role would simply be to hand the President his resignation, no questions asked, unless for some reason Trump knows he couldn’t get another AG passed the senate and is holding off till midterms or exposures are revealed.
