I think it is just beyond the horizon.
Laws against conceald carry are perhaps of long-standing in some jurisdictions to prevent recognizing it as part of the right.
What I expect to have happen is that the Supreme Court will uphold a right to carry openly. That will be followed by demonstrations by people such as myself who will carry openly everywhere we can until such time as the various legislatures BEG us to carry concealed instead.
It will be a great boost to me to believe that we have a Supreme Court that might be unwilling to let me rot in jail for disobeying an un-Constitutional infringement of my right to keep and bear arms.
