Some People Think Queen Elizabeth’s Jewelry Threw Shade at Donald Trump
US via MSN ^ | 7/18/18 | Anon

Here’s a topic to “brooch”! Queen Elizabeth II may have thrown a little shade toward President Donald Trump with the jewelry she donned on Thursday, July 12, the same day Trump arrived in England.

The small green flower brooch the British monarch wore on Thursday as she welcomed the Archbishop of Canterbury and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar to Windsor Castle has special significance. Dubbed the American State Visit Brooch, the vintage jewelry item was a gift from former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama from their state visit in 2011.

According to Politico, the Obamas purchased the brooch — a 1950 piece featuring 14-karat yellow gold, diamonds and moss agate — from Tiny Jewel Box, a Washington D.C. jewelry store frequented by presidents, first ladies and Cabinet members.

Elizabeth’s choice to wear the Obamas’ gift on the same day Trump arrived in England might have been a coincidence, but considering the number of brooches the Queen has, some pundits are thinking it was a deliberate choice.

Actually, the brooch goes swimmingly with Her Majesty’s coat, each in a paisley motif. Good choice, Lizzie.

The Soetoro’s purchased it or did the American taxpayer purchase it?

It was probably a re-gift from the Obozos.

Maybe the Queen and family need to help make up the difference in the NATO bill for their host country...

The target is 2% GDP. We pay slightly more than that, one of the few countries in NATO who do.

Pitiful little junior high pranks pass for statecraft now and some (cough cough) think Donald Trump is the problem. Grow up for god’s sake.

Queen Elizabeth’s reign saw England’s transition from a safe and independent country of Englishmen, to a vassal state of Brussels, teeming with jihad and other menaces courtesy of an imported third-world population.

She never once used her bully pulpit to fight against the destruction of her people,

Useless woman. Useless institution.

The Queen does not have a bully pulpit. This is NOT the 16th Century.

I’m sick of folks who know nothing about British royalty pontificating here.

Would the people in the cheaper seats clap your hands? And the rest of you, if you’ll just rattle your jewelry.

The Queen doesn’t choose her outfits. They are all laid out for her by her team of three dressers. Who even knows their political knowledge or leanings.

Too bad. The queen is useless. While she opens museums and drones through an annual speech, Britain becomes a police state that locks up people for thought crimes.

Her son is probably a flat out Muslim. Her grandkids are PC multicultural nonsense babbling tools.

Completely useless family and a failed joke of an institution..

You don’t know what you’re talking about. I wish people wouldn’t drone on in dumb ways about things they know nothing about.

Then the Queen could help with her paternal family's country, Germany.

I’m sorry that you have no actual facts or counterarguments about the uselessness of QE2 and the rest of her Islam-welcoming brood.

But repeatedly whining about how “people who don’t know” make you sad is a bit pathetic.

For a guy (or gal) who thinks that Queen Elizabeth has a bully pulpit and sends negative messages to American presidents through her brooches, I wouldn’t be so ready to accuse others of being sad or pathetic.

“...who thinks... brooches”

???

I have never in my life mentioned or discussed “brooches”.

Cut back on the sauce lady.
