Correct, however cleaning the range, cooking pots and pans, dinner plates and silverware, and the dining table is what we do not care for. Not to mention forays to the grocery store to buy food items. All that is avoided by going to a restaurant. That is why we eat out several times every week.
It’s simple: the same dish, prepared with equal skill to the same standards with like ingredients, will taste better with a restaurant wrapped around it, than it will at home.
Is that sexist?

Hate to bust the bubble...
Consider the time it takes to go to the restaurant....park...be seated...decide what to get...be served...eat...pay the bill...and drive home...cleaning dishes and oven and pots and pans may not take that much time...dont forget tips and transportation....overpriced liquor..soda...coffee...once in a while ok.
