Michael Cohen’s lawyer Lanny Davis is pleading for donations to a new fund he set up to help pay the legal fees associated with his case.
The “Michael Cohen Truth Fund” on GoFundMe has a $500,000 goal. At the time of writing, over $10,000 had been donated.
Cohen, President Donald Trump’s former fixer and attorney, pleaded guilty to a number of offenses in a deal with prosecutors.
Among those is an admission of guilt to campaign finance violations relating to two hush payments to women who allege extramarital affairs with Trump.
In his deal, Cohen implicated Trump, suggesting the president—who denies the affairs and any advance knowledge of the payments buying their silence—directed him to buy the women’s silence to influence the 2016 election.

The Clinton Mafia rears its hideous head one more time. Lanny Davis has been in that corrupt cesspool all his professional life. Soros could finance Cohen’s legal bills, as he finances numerous anti-Trump causes, but he won’t because he a self-hating Jew.
Cohen should tour with Stormy and have dollar bills stuffed in his pants....but that may be tough if he is in jail. Maybe Lanny can arrange a healthy grant from the Clinton Crime Family RICO Slush Fund.
This is a “go fund Lanny Davis” funding, not Cohen.
Davis knew Cohen didn’t have enough money for legal fees when he took on the case...the plea deal is done, let Davis eat it.
The question is, how did the Clinton toady Lanny Davis become Cohen’s lawyer? Why did Lanny have Cohen confess to a crime that was not a crime. The supposed campaign violation law.
Why does he need to fund raise when he’s already plea’d out?
This should open up Lanny Davis to an investigation of embezzlement.

I’m with you. I think the time has long past for Trump to tell some of his political “advisors” to back the hell off.
If I were Trump, I’d start going directly for Mueller and discussing Mueller’s direct relationship to the Clintons, the Clinton Foundation, Russia, uranium, the Bolger case, Comey and so on. Mueller’s got more skeletons in his closet than a carnival fun house and he’s going after Paul Manafort whose only real crime was his association with Trump? (Remember, DOJ chose not to go after Manafort for the same “crimes” 13 years ago.)
Furthermore, Trump needs to give Jeff Sessions a swift kick in the ass. If Sessions and Huber really are working on indictments - which I’m beginning to doubt, time to start making some very public arrests.

Payments for NDAs from alleged mistresses aside, Cohen committed serious crimes - bank fraud, tax fraud, etc. I thought you weren’t allowed to profit from committing federal crimes.
Wasn’t to know who it was at DOJ that looked at the exact same evidence re: Manafort in 2010 and said there was no case there? Rosenstein. Not even kidding.
