The media has had this power since the days of pamphleteers.
Its not going to change, nor should it. Its free speech.
People just have to realize they are as reliable information-wise as "weight reduction pill" commercials. And usually worse!
Also there is nothing “special” about them !
That's what gets me about all the TV Newsies from Acosta, to any of them!. They all think they're more knowledgeable, more serious, more concerned, smarter then anyone else!
Well they are not!
They are entertainers ! Entertainers who can't sing, dance, or do comedy. The only drama they can do is exude concern & serious over a “story”.
Why do I say they are entertainers?
What happens if their ratings go down. THEY ARE GONE!!! Maybe exiled to doing commercials on Good Morning America or something similar. Their pretentiousness has earned my contempt and its unlikely they will ever do anything to change that!
