heard Levine last evening. I think the ‘take away’ was, if Trump used his own money to pay her, that’s not a campaign violation. The violation would only occur on how the paperwork was done - something Trump didn’t handle.
My understanding so far, is that Cohen paid it and then submitted falsified bills to the campaign in order to be reimbursed. I don’t see how that gets anyone in trouble except Cohen.
