I’ve been to “employee only” programming staff meetings at Google. Nothing like this was discussed at these meetings, but the things that were discussed are indicative of corporate psychology that would absolutely use every resource to benefit the global world order that Google obviously espouses. The instructions from the technology management were explicitly to use every dirty means to get more traffic from users. Literally, they said “every dirty means”. Lying, psychology, whatever.

Google is immoral to the core, and the google programmers think that’s okay. They get free food, they get to use scooters in the hallways, they get to diss the elderly and the conservative.

Corruption.

Open discussions in programming staff meetings is not the universe of communication.

As a management consultant, I have been involved in many talks that require ducking into empty spaces to talk into lapels e.g. great analysis and presentation, but this hire must be the black candidate.
