Yes, I read that later, and it makes it even more bizarre. Obviously this woman should never have made it into the police force. I still think affirmative action is ruining everything, and we all will pay the price.

She shot a man inside his own home. She wasn’t there in an official capacity. It may have been a terrible mistake, but a man is dead. She needs to be convicted of manslaughter (at the least) and never work as a police officer again. She should have been taken into custody pending further investigation when this incident happened, as would be the case for any non-cop who just shot someone in that person’s home, or as usually happens even if you shoot someone in your home.

When you are in a building that is designed exactly the same floor to floor, it is easy to do. I’ve spend all of my working my years [I’m 70 now] in skyscraper office buildings with exactly the same design on each floor.
It is easy to do. You do NOT HAVE TO BE DRUNK. You are essentially on auto-pilot, glancing at familiar points.
Having said that, I don’t have any idea what happened in this case.
