Yes, the difference between “right” and “left” fascism are only cosmetic. The former oppresses out of a sense of superioristic pride in being vicious to others who must redistribute to himself, whereas the other practices the fascism of self hate and attacking anyone who is not beating themselves on the head for sake of a redistributionist pimp to decide.
In that thesis and antithesis comes the Obamas who claim the throne to reasonableness and social solutions... final social solutions involving invariably the rest of the world owing them something.
Some truth there. Marine Le Pen is in many ways a statist. And her political party has - shall we say - some disturbing elements in it.
But Le Pen is almost alone in France in sounding the alarm about radical Islam. And for that she is doing her nation a great service.
Oh, and one more thing. No Le Pen thread would be complete without a picture of Marion Le Pen.
Probably the most absurd thing I've seen posted on this forum, which says a lot.
The Left in Europe and the US is defined by an ideology of national suicide through the surrender of sovereignty and the displacement of one's own people by Third World hoards. Obama is in favor of these things, so are the Eurocrats. LePen and her allies are fighting for national identity and survival.
There is much more to how Left and Right are defined, historically and internationally, then who is for or against a given tax cut.
A lot of anti-Israeli patriotism in her ranks. Why would such a party prone Israeli self hate and destruction?
LePen's task is to represent the national interests of France, not those of Israel. You probably don't judge Netanyahu for (most likely) not really giving a damn about the well-being of the French nation and people, so why should LePen and her followers be expected to make Israel's well-being a priority?
Well, I would expect a French patriot to oppose international socialist efforts to erase Israeli or French patriotism, but idiots abound.
