Well...if she were an alcoholic for most of her life, I don’t see this make-over helping much (course, Hillary always benefited).

“If you were a lifetime alcoholic, this would be a demanding session to sit through.”

Is she an alcoholic?

I don’t care if she’s an alcoholic or a space alien. She wanted her story out there, or she wouldn’t have sent the letter to DF. Months or weeks of preparation aren’t necessary unless lies are being fabricated and practiced. The truth is easy. (And not “HER truth, as her sister said.)

She’s a freaking PROFESSOR. She gets up in front of crowds every day when she lectures. She presents at conferences.

If one is ready to make the accusation, then one is ready to be grilled about the veracity of it.

I was thinking the same thing — about Diamond and Silk. I wonder how the good professor feels about being one-upped by these ladies. Of course, D&S were telling the truth and didn’t require time to practice lies.

And very often “normal people” testify in front of these committees. They don’t make demands for accommodations.

I have read a couple of dozen books about Hamilton.

The best (not that you asked) are those by Forrest MacDonald (It is the best to explain the various financial programs); the Rise and Fall of Alexander Hamilton by Robert Hendrickson ((comprehensive); AH & American Foreign Policy; and AH & the Founding of the Nation among others.

I am such a Hamilton nut that I have 39 books about him and have read them all. I even spent 10 yrs writing a screenplay about him.

Trump is like Hamilton in that they both have infinite energy and are ardent Nationalists.

That is awesome! I really love reading American History and especially the Colonial period up to and including the Civil War—just find it fascinating.
I realize the massive difficulties in our History—the challenges and the incredible minds and personalities that shaped and formed the American experience.
Looking at the pea brain morons who now occupy most public offices just makes me so angry and disappointed. I feel we owe out ancestors better-—such a shame.
Appreciate the recommendations-—love researching and learning-—

You are welcome. No one other than his life-long partner George Washington had a more important role than Hamilton. He was the son Washington never had.

Dems have a hesitant, ill-prepared accuser on their hands.

It doesn't matter. We'll never get to hear what she has to say because she has no intentions of ever showing up.

All the Democrats are doing here is running down the clock.
