Several months ago, the very night the Stormy Daniels story broke, I appeared on Don Lemon’s show on CNN. The producer told the guests a few minutes before we went on air that Lemon wanted our reaction to the Daniels allegations. The first guest said something trite about how “she may be doing this to call attention to herself, but we have to treat these charges against Trump very seriously.” Next, Lemon turned to me for my reaction. I really had no opinion about this story, so I just blurted out the first thing that popped into my head: “Gee, Don, who would have ever thought a stripper would want to call attention to herself?”
Now, if you are a normal person, you probably at least laugh a little or smile about that line. But the video went viral on YouTube because the other three guests, all liberals, and Lemon sat stone faced when I said that. They didn’t crack even the slightest hint of a smile. There was just a long awkward silence until I finally said, “Hello, that’s a joke.”
The point of this story is that liberals just don’t have a sense of humor anymore.

Liberals are fun like the KGB was fun. They appeared nightly at the famous Lubyanka.
When you view everything through the lens of systems of oppression, you see EVRYTHING as an Oppressor v. Oppressed dynamic. No room for fun in that.
They still are - look at all the humor they put out.
Like the parties Kavanuagh supposedly attended. In the end, this righteous, indignant, puritanical behavior by the left is getting scary. Most parties at peoples’ homes have a lot of debauchery, sexual joking, and grab-assing. It’s a party for f’s sake.
So now, if you attended any crazy, fun party, you’re a molester, rapist, and misogynist — at least if you’re a man. If you are a woman at a party, you’re simply a victim.
What a bleak, mirthless world the Democrats are creating. And this is the life people want?

They’ve never been fun. But sometimes they’re extremely funNY. Rush says they’re funniest when they’re not in power. He said that a long time ago. Now they’ve gone from funny to evil.
Because “liberals” are cynical about society - which rationalizes their naiveté towards government - and cynicism is an antonym for faith.It means that “liberals” can’t be grateful - and anyone who is not grateful is not happy.
It’s called “the awkward stage”.
There’s so much that goes on during normal flirting, courtship and socialization that is very very consensual that could easily be recharacterized decades later by someone with an axe to grind.
Moving forward, it must be assumed in every case where the person has not expediently filed a police report and collected evidence that the claim is a defamatory one. Whatever benefit of the doubt was once extended as a courtesy can no longer be extended to the modern breed of “liberated” female.

That is exactly correct. Psych meds of all sorts cause an emotional flatline in the user (except the programmed faux outrage we see when they are activated).
It's a chemical lobotomy for liberals. 80 Million people in the USA are using psychiatric drugs for mental illness. That is the whole Democrat Party, plus a few fringe users.
I think you’re right on about the psych meds. A lot of our current crop of libs were Ritalin kids (I remember the articles in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s which questioned what these kids would be like as adults after spending a childhood on mood-altering drugs. Maybe now we have some idea.)
And Libs DID used to be wacky funny. They were wild-partying “Animal House” jokesters until they decided to become some sort of weird cult of PC-obsessed atheist Quakers.
But they were humorless and dreary and only slightly less angry during the Obama presidency.
It's just become the latest mandatory fashion trend. Being happy is for the unhip. Surliness is the new man-bun.
