I do not believe Senators have body guards. But they certainly should have body guards. The times, they are changing.
My former Congressman (I moved out of his district, he is still in Congress) has armed body guards. Of course he is Democrat. A very rich Democrat. His biggest risk appears to be from violent Leftists who criticize him for being "too moderate".
Some people just cannot take "yes" for an answer.
