I’m old enough to remember bumper strip political ads when they were ubiquitous as in the 1960 Nixon/Kennedy campaign. They have virtually vanished mainly because of vandalism by leftists to cars bearing ads for R candidates and issues. This has been a long-time trend a-building.

My wife has horses on our property. Every election year I have posted political signs out front despite my wife's fear that members of the opposition party would harm the horses. This year, I am finally convinced the risk is real so I will not post signs.
