The Senate Judiciary Committee hears testimony from Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh and Professor Christine Blasey Ford about her allegations that Judge Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her while the two were teenagers.
How do you establish a baseline on a polygraph with just two questions? I’m no expert but unless you get her to lie at some point intentionally to get a reading how would you know what to compare any other answers against as the truth or a lie?

And a crying Dr. Ford would help how? I think it was intentional to tiptoe around questions that would allow her to be emotional and defensive.

While I appreciate all the comments from the arm-chair lawyers, very few of the comments come from Freepers who have actually tried a case, cross-examined a witness, or even witnessed a real trial. I often tell jurors during the selection process and opening statement, that "real trials are not like what they may have seen on TV, Perry Mason moments are rare, and the some of the evidence that you will hear may not make sense until after all the evidence is in and the lawyers are summing up their case during closing arguments. Let's hope that Mitchell's closing arguments show all the lies and inconsistencies.
Maybe I’m crazy but I wanted to know what color the one piece bathing suit was and if she burned it. I understand victims do that. It was so carefully recorded in her brain that it was a one piece she had to remember this.
She was absolutely horrible. I thought at the beginning, this is good, she’s being nice to this clear liar, relaxing her and then will start asking tough questions, like the one you suggested.. She coddled her all the way through... How the hell did she not force her to name Chris Garrett, not ask her what kind of relationship they had, was sex involved, why did they break up, who broke up, if it was him dumping her. etc...

If Kav is voted in, the GOP will hold the House and gain in the Senate because it will show the base that the Pubs have stones.
If, OTOH, the Pubs wimp out, they will lose control of the House and possibly the Senate.
No one asked why she didn’t get Leland out of there. Would have been interesting to hear her reason.
