My wife and I visited Hungary just after the demise of the Soviet empire. It was clear even then that the Hungarians had trod a different more independent path than the other eastern European countries. They were openly disdainful of the Russians and their neighbors in conversations we had. Perhaps it is their language which is unique and related only distantly to Estonian and Finnish. And they are proud of their uniqueness and want to protect it. One has to respect that.

I believe the world would be a substantially lesser place without the various European cultures. Further, muslims will never integrate into those cultures, which will ultimately be turned into the same sh#tholes as the muslim left.
Someone tell me what is wrong with having a strong, cohesive culture?

I’ve been to Budapescht (as they call it). It is FAR from a lily-white city, lots of minorities, yet still one culture.
Why, because the minorities there are there LEGALLY. There is no entity in government trying to bring down their culture, as is the case in the US, Canada, and Western Europe.
