Jimmy Carter: Kavanaugh is 'unfit' to be a Supreme Court justice

Former President Jimmy Carter harshly criticized newly appointed Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, calling him "unfit" to serve on the court.

Speaking to a class at Emory University in Atlanta on Wednesday, Carter said that Kavanaugh's behavior during his confirmation hearings demonstrated that his appointment was "a very serious mistake," according to Emory's independent, student-run newspaper, The Emory Wheel.

"Whether or not [Kavanaugh] attempted to rape [Christine Blasey Ford], I thought he was temperamentally unfit to serve on the Supreme Court because of his outburst during the hearing," Carter said, according to video taken by a student during his remarks. "I saw him lose his cool."

They’re such lowlifes.

Imagine trying to completely and unfairly destroy a man, and then used his justifiable anger at the situation as a mark against him!

I know one thing: Jimmuh was “temperamentally unsuited” to be President, as he was a colossal failure at the job. In 1980, the American People rightfully agreed.

You know how difficult it is to lose THAT BADLY as incumbent running for re-election? Bush 41 lost, but it wasn’t like the ass-kicking Carter took. You really have to be a screw-up to get drummed out on your ass like that.

the “judicial temperament” argument is a total fraud. he has demonstrated his “judicial temperament” in a truly judicial setting — namely, the DC circuit of appeals — for 12 years.

when he jacked up those senators that were trying to frame him, it was a circus.

He had every right to lose his cool Jimmah.

And maybe if you had lost your cool you could’ve served another term. But beat you didn’t.

YOUR party attacked and smeared his name in a cheap and callous attempt to maintain control of the Supreme Court and by this statement YOU APPROVE of these banana republic tactics. Further you have not come out against Clinton or Ellison for their sexual slights or Maxine’s sweaters for losing HER temperament.

Get bent you pig.

I must have missed the line in the Constitution that mentions you can’t have a temper if you want to be on the Supreme Court.

Besides the fact he was justified in his anger...

Just when the Democrats were hoping that this story died down so they can get back to campaigning, Carter has to go and make it news again.

“Just when you thought he was too old and decrepit to keep screwing things up, Carter is back attacking a good man and trying to destroy his reputation.”

He’s just trying to reclaim his “honor” as the worst President of all time from Obama. And just think, in the “troika of worst Presidents of all time,” Slick Wille comes in a a close third? I make it a three-way tie! Even that slimy old ba$tard, “RAT Texan,” LBJ could not make it onto the list, but his wife did take first place for the “Ugliest First Lady of all Time,” hands down! She was so ugly, I am left wondering if LBJ picked her up by her ears like he did his Beagles!

Jimmy Carter has one seminal accomplishment that has never been eclipsed. Jimmy ran the Tennis court schedule with more fluency than any president before or since. He is and was a marvel.

Carter is just mad because he lost his “worst president ever” award to Obama.

He is totally irrelevant. It’s a shame the US is still paying him a pension.

His “outburst” was not. He reacted with righteous indignation to a false accusation. I would not have been so restrained. He would have been justified in the use of physical force.

Carter can’t last much longer. With luck, he’ll go to reap his eternal reward before long, and enjoy eternal bliss.

These low-life slimeballs had two talking points prepared:

1. Kavanaugh was so laid-back and calm about the whole thing, it’s obvious he did it and doesn’t think anything of women’s rights.

2. Kavanaugh was so angry and emotional about the false accusations that he doesn’t have the temperament to be a Supreme Court justice.

By the way Jimmy, thanks agin for the Islamic Republic of Iran - your legacy, a-hole.

The nation has many stains on the fabric of its history,, Jimmah has made his own contributions along the way, as has Bubba and Obammy.. not even OxyClean can remove some of them.. From the Panama Canal giveaway to the Bin Laden misses opportunities to the Benghazi debacle and call to inaction,, Yeah ol’ P-nut left his own marks, maybe he’s just jealous his legacy is already written.

“I saw him lose his cool.”

I still remember losing my cool in Nov 1980 and voting to boot this loser out of office and back to the peanut fields.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I remember it quite well, also. I was unemployed due to the construction industry being devastated by the 20% interest rates. Everyone in the construction industry was also unemployed so I had a lot of company.
