So, whatever became of the previous “migrant caravan”? I’m getting severe déjà vu from this story, and its mass media attention, and at this point I feel like it’s more a P.R. thing than a serious effort.
It never went away.
Last spring’s ‘migrant caravan’ was halted at the border and processed into the US in small batches to cover lack of border enforcement.
No reason invaders should stop trying. There’s no downside yet.
They will be let in just like the previous caravan and the one after this will get let in and the one after that will be let in... rinse and repeat. They know this. They know how incredibly stupid the US is.
