For Trump’s opponents, the caravan represents a trap. Has Trump’s radical nativism so counter-radicalized them that they have internalized the caravan message against any border enforcement at all? If yes, they will not help immigrants. They will only marginalize themselves—and American politics will follow the European path in which anti-immigration parties of the extreme right cannibalize the political center.
If liberals insist that only fascists will defend borders, then voters will hire fascists to do the job liberals will not do. I’ve been pounding the drum for this warning since the European migration crisis accelerated in 2013. The warning holds as true as ever—and now it’s coming home.

If we air drop say 10,000 loaded AR-15s into that crowd somewhere along the line.... and if they all pick up one.... can we consider them an armed invasion force and then call in a military strike?

Needless to say, we do not share Frum's concerns, nor his "insights."
The fascists at Antifa have obligingly given us the game plan in their chant: “No border, no wall, no USA at all!” And that’s the end game.

If only there was an official document we could consult that will instruct our officials what to do in case of a foreign invasion?
Exactly. I keep asking people who bluster about this exactly how, under the law, is the US supposed to stop a group of people from other countries from approaching our border? We have total control once they do, but all this talk of “it’s an invasion” is ridiculous. The only country that’s been invaded is Mexico, and that’s their problem, not ours.
Are they driving? How can you move that many people, that fast, all the way across Mexico. That is a logistics nightmare, especially considering the quality of the transportation resources down there.

This caravan is right out of the WWI boche playbook. What finally decided Wilson to enter the war was when British intelligence gave him a copy of a telegram the German government sent to the governments of Mexico and Japan encouraging them to invade the US. If this were done then our military would be tied down here and unable to join the fight in Europe.

Being in favor of secure borders and enforcement of the laws gets you tagged as a radical nativist by the Bush League Republicans who are still hell bent on making the USA into North Mexico.
