Knew in a heartbeat this had to be a liberal arts “math is hard” professor. Too many good engineers at NCSU to be a School of Engineering professor.
When I was in graduate school in engineering at NCSU in the early 90s nearly all of the professors were left leaning. It didn’t come up in class, however.
