The University of Denver will host a “White Privilege Symposium” which will include scores of workshops focusing on how white students can hold themselves accountable for their race. The White Privilege Symposium is presented by The Privilege Institute and The University of Denver, and will offer several workshops seeking to help white people “check their privilege,” according to the symposium’s website.

Per capita, fewer white people than others have self-injuriously kooky cultural norms, by demographic circumstance. Does that mean that people of other colors cannot do culture well? No. But it means that they’re going to be accused by troublemakers of acting white if they do.

I’m so glad I heard about this! If I had accidentally missed it I’d have felt bad. Now I can intentionally miss it and feel good about it!
There certainly is white liberal privilege: notice Madame Clinton and Mister Donnelly being given passes on their recent racist statements.
