I know an older, conservative Republican couple...and, it does work. The audience who read the articles and see the pro-”caravan” coverage is a normal bell curve distribution. Some will be taken in and sympathetic, even changing their overall views to oh-let’s-just-take-in-this-one-stray-puppy. Others will view it and say “carpet-bomb-them” and the article’s readership will have all views between the extremes. Propaganda works for some percentage of the time and on some percentage of the audience. That’s just the way it is.
Beyond the President’s Tweets there appears to be no organized group trying to convince the general population that letting in an invading army is a bad idea. But there appears to be a huge, well funded organization behind the invasion and the propaganda in favor of it.

If I wanted to put a swimming pool in my yard I have to put up a fence as the pool is an “attractive nuisance”. IMHO, chain migration and anchor babies are an attractive nuisance that has killed thousands of people and caused the suffering of millions. How can LACK OF A BORDER WALL NOT BE ILLEGAL? Especially if my pool needs a fence?
The solution to “bandaged feet” and “bleeding hands” is to stop right where they are, and apply to Mexico for asylum.
Ahhh, two new Mexican citizens......Oh wait, Mexico isn't stupid enough to give illegal immigrants citizenship. Too bad for the two women. It's a good thing they are 'subject to the jurisdiction' of their home country, and the babies will have citizenship there.

What happens to the millions of dollars the US sends their home countries to help them?
I understand that Mexico has offered assistance, housing, jobs, and path to Mexican citizenship. All things they are not going to get here. Maybe they need to rethink their options?
There are LEGAL ways to come into the US if you are truly fleeing a country for your life.
Have any of these people even tried the legal route.? I doubt it.
And please, keep your TB, polio, small pox, et al out of the US.

All those blistered and bloody feet. Really? There’s not one picture in this article or the hundred other articles showing one boo boo on any foot. The feet pics all show nice clean healthy feet.
