French President Emmanuel Macron: ‘Nationalism is Treason’ (War is peace, freedom is slavery)
Breitbart ^ | 11 NOV 2018 | Charlie Spiering

Posted on 11/11/2018 9:45:14 AM PST by E. Pluribus Unum

French President Emmanuel Macron denounced nationalism during an Armistice Day centennial observance in Paris on Sunday. “Patriotism is the exact opposite of nationalism: Nationalism is treason,” Macron said, according to a Euronews translator.

Macron spoke in front of world leaders including President Donald Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

“If we think our interests may only come first and we don’t care for others, it is a treason of our values, a betrayal of all moral values,” he said. “We must remember this.”

Macron said that the moral values of France helped them fight for the future of their country.

He praised the world leaders that formed the first League of Nations, after World War I.

“They imagined the first international corporation, the dismantling of empires, and redefined borders, and dreamed at the time of a union, a political union of Europe,” Macron said.

He lamented that the spirit of revenge and humiliation after World War I sparked renewed nationalism that led to World War II.

He is emerging from his shell.. The Savior of EUrabia.. as good a candidate for anti-Christ as anyone drawing breath today.

Mr. Trump, bring all our troops home from all over the globe..

Rebuild Fortress America. Screw the Globalists!

They are not in it for US .. only their own agenda of totalitarian rule.

The world detests us and the freedom and liberties so many enjoy today as a result of our brave young men and women dying to save their sorry arses time and time again.

The Western elites think nothing of betraying their own peoples. They do not believe they are there to represent the interests of their country and its citizens; they believe they are there to rule over their country and its citizens and make them submit to their globalist conception of the greater good. This globalism leaves the elites wealthy and powerful and the little people impoverished with their wealth redistributed and wages pushed down, in crime ridden neighborhoods overwhelmed with drugs and gangs, with little say in their own futures or how they are ruled, and in a broken-down society with no social adhesion or common values or culture.

Much of France joined with Nazi Germany. This fact is usually sugar coated as not to offend our French friends.

But the truth is Vichy French forces killed many American soldiers as they landed in North Africa at the begining of American participation in WWII. There were even French SS troops fighting to the death in Berlin as the Allies finished off the Nazis.

Also French sent thousands of Jews off to their deaths in the East under Hitler. This part of history should be taught along side of the "French Resistence" stories.
France was beaten very quickly by Germany in about six weeks in May and June of 1940.

This is what happens when you elect Godless leaders. God created the nation state and different languages for our own good. Satan has been trying to create another one world order/government ever since.

Macron is conviently distorting history. After the war, Europeans knew that nationalism could be a way of protecting peoples from aggression and acted accordingly to radically redefine the basis for many nations. Before World War I there were large scale empires. The Austro-Hungarian empire especially incompassed many peoples (ethnic Germans, Hungarians, Romanians, Czechs, Slovaks, Slovenes, Serbs, Croats, etc.). The tension of such an amalgam of peoples in one country initially sparked the war in the first place (a Serb assassinating the Austrian heir to the throne).

Europeans learned a lesson from that and began dividing people up by their ethnic/cultural/linguistic groups into separate nations to create less conflict. The Austro-Hungarian Empire was divided into Austria, Hungary, Czechoslavakia, and Yugoslavia. The Ottoman Empire (another Central Power) was likewise divided into even more separate countries and mandates. A lot of territory was shifted, such as East Prussia being given from German to Poland—not just as punishment but because the majority of people living in East Prussia were ethnic Poles. Other countries were also created based on local people’s wanting their own nation states to government themselves (Finland and the Baltic nations).

World War I led to a powerful drive for nationalism, but with the exception of Germany it was not done with the “spirit of revenge” but with the spirit of peace, safety, and the right of self-determination.

Take a walk in Paris today and see France's future. The Nazis had nothing on the colonist invaders who are making France a colony and third world sh*thole. There is zero resistance to this overall in Europe making WWI and WWII a complete waste.

French Macaroni Boy wants to take Aunt Merkel's place as the titular head of the "uniworldism" movement in Europe.

Merkel filled Germany up as fast as she could with foreigners and now she's out because of the backlash. I read a story yesterday that the average German citizen no longer recognizes their own country and feels like they don't fit in any more.

And this is a good thing?

Canadian Eyebrow Boy is right there with him but in the Western Hemisphere, Canada has this little barrier to the south of them called the US of A that keeps the hordes out. Maybe we should build the a "safe passage corridor" for these South and Central Americans, Mexicans, terrorists, smugglers, rapists, murderers invader convoys run them right up into Canada and then seal the borders behind them.

He (Macron) lamented that the spirit of revenge and humiliation after World War I sparked renewed nationalism that led to World War II.

Conveniently forgetting that one of the main causes of the Great War was the French spirit of revenge for their defect by Prussia in 1871.

At the time, it was called "revanche", and it was every Frenchman's patriotic duty.

Britain should have stayed out of it. If they had stayed out of it, we would have stayed out of it.

France was beaten very quickly by Germany in about six weeks in May and June of 1940.

This was during the Hitler-Stalin pact. French Communists offered no resistance.

In the US, our own Leftists agitated to keep us out of the war, right up to the point where Hitler invades Russia. Then, of course, it turned completely 180 degrees...

Leftists citing “moral values” are walking oxymorons. They have only one value: Win. Damn the cost.

What Americans seem to forget is the largest ethnic group in this country in WW two was GERMAN. (And still is to this day.)
So in general Americans were not too quick to go to war with Germany. - Tom

It's all of a piece with the EU's conceit that nationalism starts wars and that a supra-national organization such as the EU will somehow magically be immune to it. Precisely none of which is actually backed up by history.

He praised the world leaders that formed the first League of Nations, after World War I.

Another case of poor memory. There was nothing wrong with the world diplomatic community prior to WWI, having successfully settled both Balkan Wars and the Moroccan Crisis to name but three. Christopher Clark details this in his wonderful The Sleepwalkers: How Europe Went To War In 1914. Its problem in the case of WWI was that it was too small for a critical mass to be available in August 1914 and events proceeded much faster than any diplomatic crisis it had faced up to that time. But the League was nothing new or revolutionary, and it also wasn't very effective.

Neither is this persistent passion for world government anything new, and it is irritating in the extreme to hear its proponents adopt a sanctimonious air of moral superiority in pursuing it. The name for it for all of recorded history is Empire, and there is nothing antiwar about it.

It's simple - The French are a dead end growth off the tree of humanity that has developed in strange and abnormal ways.
