Dana Loesch Speechless After Learning Parkland Shooter Registered in Florida Election

It takes a lot to render Dana Loesch speechless, something I’m sure Michael Bloomberg  could agree to.

However, even the National Rifle Association’s most visible spokeswoman was at a loss for words when she found out that the alleged Parkland shooter had been registered to vote while behind bars in Broward County.

Nikolas Cruz, the 20-year-old man who is accused of killing 17 people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School back in February, is currently awaiting trial in the Broward County Jail.

Yet, back in July, he was registered to vote. Andrew Pollack, whose daughter Meadow was one of Cruz’s alleged victims, was outraged over the fact.

I’m sick to my stomach. 18-1958 murdered 17 students & staff, including my daughter Meadow. Yet in July, Broward Sheriff @ScottJIsrael let people into the jail to get him & other animals registered to vote. The Despicable Democrats have no shame. Can’t let them steal this election. pic.twitter.com/qWisidEpek

— Andrew Pollack (@AndrewPollackFL) November 10, 2018

“I’m sick to my stomach,” Pollack tweeted.

Maybe Cruz and Hogg can run for President and Vice President respectively. I put Micholas Cruz first oveer David Hogg because if Nicholas Cruz were vice president under David Hogg, he would have to murder him and become the Democratic President of the United States.

In most states it is not automatic. Lawyers are usually involved in the restoration.

Yes, but in spite of the fact that the trail has not taken place there is no doubt of his guilt. If he is found guilty but insane, is suppose he would still loose his voting rights.

A lot of conservatives voted for felons to vote as well. Many commercials and tv appearances as well as radio interviews from Christian folks saying how great they are now. Glenn Beck has a different Christian on every day on his morning radio show. I was touched but voted no anyway because I thought more democrats would benefit even though a good number are good Christians. Not enough to sway me to vote yes.

Isn’t she the one who spearheaded an “open letter” to Candidate Trump demanding he fire Lewandowski, after Michelle Fields claimed she’d been brutally manhandled?

I also believe she wrote an “essay” for National Review against Trump, as did Katie Pavlich. No consequences for either woman.

btw, I absolutely agree. Loesch ought to focus on her own problems.

If you are not convicted of a crime, you are still a full citizen.....In jail but not convicted, authorities are compelled to let you vote, lest they violate your constitutional rights.

Convicted felons in prison/jail CANNOT vote.....

I think this is a perverse interpretation of the constitution. If I am home sick, is someone compelled to bring me a ballot? I don't think so. If I have good sense, and I am able, I can arrange for an absentee ballot.

Yes, the mass murderer may not have been convicted, but there were eye witnesses. Let him go get his absentee ballot. If he can figure out how to kill many innocent kids, he can surely figure this out. Constitutional rights should not be followed to some silly extreme

It depends upon the circumstances. And the nature of the person asking to have his rights restored.
