Net result of liberal thought and conservative principles: No person should be stripped of their right to vote until they are convicted.

Net result of conservative thought and moral action: No need to worry about his voting rights, he’ll be dead by next election.

Yes, but in spite of the fact that the trail has not taken place there is no doubt of his guilt. If he is found guilty but insane, is suppose he would still loose his voting rights.
