MUELLER GRAND JURY WITNESS SAYS HE WILL BE INDICTED FOR PERJURY (Another perjury trap)
The Daily Caller ^ | 5:27 PM 11/12/2018 | CHUCK ROSS

A journalist who has testified twice before the Mueller grand jury said Monday that he expects to be charged in the coming days in the special counsel’s investigation.

“I fully anticipate that in the next few days I will be indicted by Mueller for some form or another for giving false information the special counsel or the grand jury,” Jerome Corsi, a former reporter with Infowars, announced on his daily web show.

“But I’m going to be criminally charged.”

Corsi has been linked to Roger Stone, a Trump confidant who has been a focus of the Mueller probe for months. (RELATED: Mueller Grand Jury Witness Makes Cryptic Remarks About Investigation)

Corsi was subpoenaed on Aug. 28 to appear before Mueller’s grand jury. He appeared on Sept. 21 and again last Friday.

Corsi said Monday that he has attempted to cooperate with Mueller’s team, but that “the entire negotiations and discussions have just blown up.”

“We did try to cooperate,” he said.

“I had nothing to hide, I feel like I’ve committed no crimes,” he continued, claiming that he has fallen victim to a perjury trap.

If he is indicted, he can thank Jeff Sessions.

Lawfare. Gulags are so passé.

Its so much better “optics” to occupy and frustrate political opponents with multi-year investigations and never-ending court-cases, while bankrupting them at the same time.

Fallen victim to a perjury trap? He should have refused to testify without immunity.

many go in under the assumption they are “cooperating” with Mueller. Doesn’t go well for them.

This is just applying pressure on Corsi to turn on Stone. Then to use as pressure on Stone to turn on Trump. Maybe mueller can get another guilty plea for a non-crime.

Anyone who has to testify to Mueller should give the same answer - “I don’t remember that.” “I don’t recall.” “I don’t have any recollection of that.”

Never talk to the FBI. Never talk to federal investigative agencies or police agencies of any sort. It’s sad that things have come to this in America, but this is the new reality.

As I recall, Linda Tripp got immunity but was indicted in another jurisdiction anyway. It didn’t go far, but she was indicted.

Didn’t Web Hubbell get immunity but Ken Starr indicted him anyway?

I’m not sure immunity is a reliable option. Take the fifth. Anything you say can be used against you by somebody somewhere.

Everyone should remember well— when he is looking for a culprit, the prosecutor is not your friend. No person should willingly ever cooperate with a hired gun like Mueller. Look what he did to those poor guys about the anthrax attack which killed five people after 9/11– after years of being hounded by Mueller’s incompetent FBI one of them gave up and committed suicide. Case review by NAS concluded that there was no sufficient evidence for the Mueller’s FBI to have fingered this innocent man. Mueller never did find the perp, the case has long been closed, unsolved, lives lost—a Mueller failure.

"“We did try to cooperate”

What kind of lawyer did he have? you don't hand over everything willy nilly. Who was his lawyer working for?
