Actually, it was the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, with a Democrat supermajority all elected at large in off year elections where the hoi polloi turn out at about 30% rates and those who work for the government turn out like they do in presidential election years. Some even have the day off to do so.
Both houses of the legislature remain firmly in GOP hands and word is that the PA Supreme Court will be elected by district rather than at large in the very near future.
