Extrajudicial killings of journalists are common in the Philippines, but there is never a peep about this. No threats to the Philippines to cut of arms transfers or aid. Yet the Saudi story goes on and on. Why?
He must have been some kind of CIA or other intel important asset and they are pissed Trump let it happen or some such crap. It all gets so tedious.
You really think this is happening. Germany loves their money. Behind doors, I’m sure there are plenty of sales going on.
What? They maybe ain’t Muslim-ee enough?
sales of gas-chambers is off
time to consolidate operations
Yeh because we sell most of the military hardware to the Saudis anyway. I don’t think they will care.
Are German sending a love letter to Iran?
Yep. Fascist Germany is aligning with Iran. Saudi would be best to cancel all the contracts and move on.
While that is true in the literal sense, the Turkish guest workers, when they came in the '60s, were not really needed (or even wanted) anymore. There were already plenty of guest workers from Italy, Spain, Greece, and Jugoslavia. And the Turks had no skills.
Indeed the German economy ministry rejected the Turkish request (citing i.a. cultural incompatability - and how right they were!), but it was overruled by the foreign ministry under US pressure to help out the NATO ally... and hence the mess we have today.
All this is well documented if you want to research the topic further. More recently Turks have started to rewrite history by claiming they were instrumental in rebuilding Germany after the war (most of which had already been done in the '50s...), and when a lie is repeated often enough...
