I guess some women have penises so it’s OK to be phallocentric now, right?
And all males don’t have the need for free tampons placed their university restrooms.
What in the name of Sam Hill is happening to this culture?
I find myself asking this more and more.
The lunatics are running the asylum
They probably got bumped because they realized how effective this was in the 2016 campaign:
Because Rush (interruption)
Well played sir!
In my study of communist societies, I came to the conclusion that the purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, not to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better. When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity. To assent to obvious lies is...in some small way to become evil oneself. One's standing to resist anything is thus eroded, and even destroyed. A society of emasculated liars is easy to control. I think if you examine political correctness, it has the same effect and is intended to. -- Theodore Dalrymple [Wiki attributes this to Anthony Daniels, TD is his nom de plume]
See tagline.
(Sigh...)
Deconstruct Deconstructionism!
It’s the only thing left!
When it becomes the entire theme of a work of 'literature' or 'theater', it becomes nothing more than boring, repetitive crudeness for the lowest common denominator.
It's as bad as the old Andy Dick "Anus and Andy" skits on Conan O'Brien, only stretched out for an entire 1-2 hour show.
I'll choose anything by Monty Python over this kind of crap anytime.
:^)
Sick society these days. Very sick.
What else can we cancel? Death of a Salesman, discriminatory to saleswomen. Streetcar named Desire, abuse of women and poor description of mental health issues. The Glass Menagerie? The Gentleman Caller did not ask permission to kiss the shy Laura.
My alma mater. Their alumni fund doesn’t get a dime from me, and this is reason #637.

There you go again, off on a tangent...and inverted.
Judging all of human history by today’s moral standards is a never-winning proposition. Art is in part a study of the human condition, which is often universal, but expressed situationally across various times and space. Kids today are seemingly taught nothing of art or history or awareness of the human condition, only value judgments based on contemporary socio-political thought - which will of course change over time as values change - making their views more akin to infantile impulsive outbursts rather than reflective thought.
btw, I am sure Jacques Derrida would be rolling in his graves over this kind of crap. His famous quote is roughly translated as “there is nothing outside of the text”, meaning that art (particularly written art, books & plays) has to be viewed through its own context - yet somehow deconstructionism has become a political philosophy that says “the text is wrong”, which ultimately leads you to a rejection of all ideas outside that of the viewer’s own understanding. Rather than appreciate the perspective of the writing, you reject it for what you perceive to be its “flaws” by the viewer’s subjective standards. That is how you end up with stupid ideas like “banning” books and plays. There is no way Derrida would have been a proponent of banning the written word.
So the symbol for woman is skirt? and man non-skirt? That’s a stereotype! Not all women wear skirts!
And one more thing, how is a traditional bathroom non inclusive? Does it keep some people out? Of course not. The only reason for the current horse$hit about bathrooms is so that insane people with a delusion of being another sex can validate their delusions.
