A climate change report published Friday contains cherry-picked data that appear designed to warn of the consequences if steps are not taken to mitigate global warming, according to one climate expert.
The scientists who wrote the National Climate Assessment (NCA) used unreliable information that exaggerates the risks global warming poses, University of Colorado Prof. Roger Pielke Jr. noted in a series of tweets. He fears the report will make it easier for critics to dismiss future climate studies.
“By presenting cherrypicked science, at odds w/ NCA Vol,1 & IPCC AR5, the authors of NCA Vol.2 have given a big fat gift to anyone who wants to dismiss climate science and policy,” Pielke Jr. wrote in a tweet Friday shortly after the White House released the report. “Embarrassing.”

A growing list of 31,487 U.S. scientists (and counting) has signed a petition strongly rejecting as unproven the hypothesis of man-made global warming or climate change. These signers include four NASA astronauts, at least two Nobel Prize winning physicists, 9,029 Ph.D.s and some of the nation’s top climatologists. Only U.S. scientists are included in this particular petition. Only relevant scientific fields are included.
Oh yeah, what do they know? We should put a big umbrella in the sky to help block those evil solar rays from bombarding us. Yeah, that’s the ticket. ;-)

That's not what the petition says. It states: There is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane or other greenhouse gases is causing, or will, in the foresseable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth's atmosphere and disruption of the Earth's climate. Moreover there is substantial scientific evidence that increases in carbon dioxide produce many beneficial effects on the upon the natural plant and animal environments of the Earth
It does not say that manmade warming is a "hoax" or anything like that. There is well supported science, theoretical and empirical, that manmade CO2 creates warming. The past amount is unknown, the future is especially unknown given substantial negative feedbacks. What it does say is that weather is not being disrupted, it is natural and varying as it always has been. It also rejects the idea of "catastrophic" warming, that is, warming with costs that start to exceed the benefits of warming.

You are correct, the global warming watermelons seldom talk about the sun, it is all about man caused stuff.
It is like the sun has no impact on our weather to them.
Note: Many of us ill-informed citizens expect all too much from President Trump. This is a case in point of that problem. This study is ‘trumpeted’ as being a product of the Trump Administration. While I do not know it for certain, I rather expect that the contracts for this work were produced and DIRECTED to amenable researchers, during the final year of the Obama Administration. Take heed and treat as opposition reporting!

Meaning that communists hate this country and free markets in general, so they concocted the idea that the use of fossil fuels will kill us and the world.
