Final election tonight in Mississippi for the US Senate and a few House races.
We can make all the laws we want, if there is NO ENFORCEMENT of the laws, those laws are worthless. Estimates are 3 million illegal voters cast their votes in 2016 election. The president said that himself.
The $100,000 fine did not deter those 3 million illegal voters. We do not have the man power and $$$ to enforce checking citizenship in every election. It is best done at time of registration.
The least we can do is confirm citizenship at registration and issue a federal voter ID card with photo. If the world’s largest democracy can do it (4 times bigger voter pool), it is ridiculous we don’t.

I already had top secret clearance from the FBI. I am as legal as they get. What is your highest clearance rating?
As high or higher.
FNC has gone down the drain big time. I still watch FBN because I like Lou Dobbs, Charles Paine, the gals and Varney.
But, I cannot stand Neal Cavuto, Chris Wallice, The Judge (Complete idiot), Shepard Smith, but the guy I cannot stand for one second is Chris Stirewalt (A total ZERO). The Stirewalt dude has a real weight problem that he needs to take care of, otherwise, health trouble looms down the road for him. As for brains and pundit smarts...he has none!!!
Yeah - he endorsed her after he played spoiler in the first election...he knew that not endorsing her after that, he would be hurting his own aspirations.
Agree with all your thoughts. It would be funny if it was not such a sad situation.
A lot of pretty women in Madison county
And Rankin
Youll need your CCW
They just pass a constitutional carry law so you might not need it now
I don’t know how many people care about Russia to be honest. It wasn’t the primary issue in the election or even a top issue in election polling. What was a top issue? Healthcare. Who completely boggled healthcare? The Republicans who ran on it for 7 years. Trump came in expecting they had legislation ready to go, and they did not. The Democrats ran a successful PR campaign against the Republican bills saying millions would be uninsured, the elderly would pay more, etc. That’s a tough narrative compete with. It seems to me we will need a healthcare plan that matches what Trump ran on - insuring people who truly can’t afford it but with as many free market options as possible to lower costs. Then they have to promote it properly. It just isn’t something you can run on now that you want to not include preexisting conditions or leave people to die if they can’t afford healthcare. Republicans had their shot to fix it, though, and they totally blew it and likely alienated some independents/moderates/crossover Dems. They won’t get anything in the next 2 years now either, so Trump won’t have that promise kept to run on.
They also failed on immigration reform too. That was Trump’s key issue, and they didn’t get the wall or any other reform passed. This has discouraged some Trump voters based on the people I read on Twitter.
Trump made some hiring decisions that hurt him early on - he let in a lot of establishment types, and they hurt him and have fought against him. They have leaked, they have sabotaged, and one went so far as to write an Op-Ed bragging about it. The claim is that the GreatAgain.gov (which was set up for MAGA people to apply) database was lost by error. I don’t buy it - I think an establishment person “lost” it on purpose.
Dems were able to get millenials out in greater numbers during the midterms. The schools are shoving garbage into their brains. My kids attend public school and I get so frustrated by the required reading. Even math problems manage to incorporate marxism. I live in Florida and we’ve had a republican governor and now 2 republican senators and Trump. I hope something be done to bring back pro-America curriculum instead of white man bad, founders bad, America bad, everyone else good?
“...public school..so frustrated by the required reading...”
America’s children are being successfully brainwashed right in front of us. Our 4 young adult daughters range in age from almost 21 (still in college) to 30. During their schooling years they attended catholic school and public school.
The required reading was pretty much lock step anti-western culture non stop starting in kindergarten - this would have been in the 90’s and the 00’s. The catholic school was no better (other than God could at least be mentioned) because they used public school curricula.
This has to be fixed fast - we live in New York State and this is happening in ALL the states.
I don’t know what we do about about it but if we don’t come up with a solution and start addressing the problem as soon as next fall, we will lose this country to Marxism. The “social” studies teachers in high school taught straight Marxism without even trying to hide it - no actual history was taught.
We advised our daughters to pretend to go along with it in order to get A’s (so they could get into a decent college) and pay no attention, which they did. I fear most students are paying attention because their parents have no idea that their children are being brainwashed or the parents AGREE.
We need to sound the alarm.
Same here. I agree. Most parents I'm afraid are either not paying attention as you say or just don't care. Our kids are being taught to despise their own country right before our eyes. It's crazy. If we could turn that around, it would make a world of difference.
Good, hopefully many black people are getting tired of the Democrats Race Bating Dog Whistles and calling all their political opponents names instead of debating real issues like taxes, illegal immigration, defense, criminal justice reform.
It is completely dismaying that an issue as important as immigration, which is unique in how it impacts and interacts with almost every important issue, is debated and discussed in such a debased manner.
We should have a robust debate about numbers, about how many legal immigrants per year to admit. I think a majority of Americans still prefer legal immigration levels lower than what we currently admit, but any call for even the slightest reduction is met viciously by the Left (Democrats and media) the donor class of the right. The viciousness is coupled with the emotion and romanticism you speak of. The result is a situation where calls to admit 500,000 immigrants a year is equated with white supremacy and where something as complex as immigration policy is degraded to references to the Statue of Liberty.
Theyve managed to take a very mainstream, and possibly majority view of Americans and make it so that it gets virtually no representation in Congress or advocacy in the public realm.
