The U.S. and China have re-engaged in trade talks ahead of a meeting between President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping at the G-20 summit in Argentina this week.
The meeting offers an "opportunity to break through" after progress toward a trade agreement stalled in recent months, according to White House economic advisor Larry Kudlow.
Trump is considering whether to put tariffs on another $267 billion in Chinese goods if the talks do not go well.

China has gone from We will never negotiate...ever to Of course, we have always meant to negotiate, and now is a good time in about 3 months.
Its not the peasants that Xi needs to worry about. Theres a million new millionaires in China. They want the gravy train to keep rolling and have political power and wealth to use. Xi has consolidated so much power there is no one else to blame for their 40-50% market losses and the lowest GDP in 15 years.
I hope they don’t make a quick deal just to get it off the table. I support the trade war.
You don't know much about historical Communism. Read up on how many millions were killed in Russia and China by their own governments. Remember, the people are disarmed.
