"If the Democrats do not give us the votes to secure our Country, the Military will build the remaining sections of the Wall. They know how important it is!"

Republicans leading the House and Senate support Trump’s aggressive push for funding. But they need Democrats to support the proposal in the Senate to pass the 60-vote threshold, complicating any funding negotiations.

Would it be legal to get the military involved? The Army Corp of Engineers presumably?

Sorry Donald they won’t. Not without shutting the government down. You signed the omnibus bill in which the traitor Paul Ryan inserted a “poison pill”. The new congress will do the same where you will either have to veto it or shut the government down. The bill may stall in the senate, but the result will be the same. Short term chaos to fund operations, or a government shutdown while the house proceeds with impeachment. You should have played hardball with Ryan.

That is the problem. There is not a majority because not all REPUBLICANS will vote for it.

Need $$$ to build the wall...Well here is a way

During WW II the government issued War Bonds to help fund the war effort. President Trump needs money to build a border wall. What would be required for the government and treasury to issue WALL Bonds? I’m sure if Wall Bonds were issued the funds for the wall would be rapidly met. If you think this plan would work, please notify the White House and President Trump

It would require an act of congress. See the problem?

It has taken too long for the administration to take control of this stupid argument. When Clinton cut defense spending and hampered the development of stealth aircraft the CIA stepped in and kept the project going.

The wall should be considered homeland security, or national defense, or infrastructure. How about using NSA funds that are being spent logging our email?

If I were King for a day I'd declare the wall to be more important than congressional perks and travel benefits.

Legal for the military to defend out borders?

Not according to some pinko judge probably.

He can do it as a matter of national defense. Which it obviously is

The military has ongoing needs to train helicopter pilots, and to train infantry to operate in remote areas. Going forward, much of this training needs to occur on the southern border.

Our red team against their red team. Don’t shoot anybody but if anyone is found wandering around apparently dazed and confused which direction south is, give them a drink of water and help them find their way back to their homeland.

Didn’t the military build Hadrian’s Wall? What about the Great Wall of China?

It has taken too long for the administration to take control of this stupid argument.

I suspect DJT is itching to take the Uniparty to task but is hesitating b/c of Mueller. He needs allies on the R side when his inevitable impeachment goes forward. After that mess is over, it's on to re-election and the gloves will come off.

I bet the States could provide inmates to build the wall.

Exactly they don’t need 60 votes. Ive also read they can put the money in on reconciliation after the House passes some. They should fund the whole $25 billion and stop playing.

I think that might be too much strategizing. My guess is the dems know impeachment is impossible so they will choose to string it out and talk about it for the next two years rather than give away all their candy in the lobby.

I say he should go on the attack and I hope he starts by picking Mark Meadows or David Bossie as Chief of Staff.

Trump can divert funds from the DOD to build the wall of there is a national security risk.
