It’s funny how the Kock Brothers were once touted as “Right-Wing” at one time. Is this what modern Libertarianism embraces?
The Koch brothers aren’t right, left, or libertarian. The Kochs are robber baron, no different than the railroad tycoons of the 1800s, who imported Chinese by the boatload to blast their throughways, staff their mines, and bring in the opium to keep their subjects pliant and submissive.
Open borders has always been a standing principle with devout libertarians. Their thought has always been that what can fence folks out can also be used to fence people in. It is inept flawed logic in the least. Under what conditions if ever would this become a possibility? In the mean time...
Something to remember is that libertarians were originally a sect of democrats and still hold on to some of those flawed principles even though they also tout some conservative values. I think they are a bit confused and do not have enough vision past their own current personal interests.
