House Speaker Paul Ryan said Thursday that President Trump would not sign a Senate bill passed Wednesday which would keep the government funded through February. The bill would avert a government shutdown as Christmas and the new year approach, but Mr. Trump is unwilling to sign a bill which does not contain funding for a border wall between the U.S. and Mexico.
Ryan said that the House Republicans would rework their bill to include wall funding.
"We're going to go back and work on adding border security to this also keeping the government open because we want to see an agreement," Ryan said. Hello?
Were you paying attention when he met with Pelosi and Schumer?
Trump needs 60 votes in the Senate. He can barely get the 50 he needs when it comes to a confirmation vote. How do you think he could have gotten 60 votes for border security?

Ryan has always been a coward. Period.
McConnell has almost always been a coward and a scheming powermonger who thinks he runs the country. I’d like to inform him that he “ruins” the country with his lack of support for badly needed conservative Senators, getting key bills passed, and whipping the Senate into shape.
The House is way beyond that unless there is a physical internal coup with conservatives throwing RINO leaders out the back door. I know it will not happen. Not enough Republicans with guts in the House, at least in the House in Congress. Most of them live in an Outhouse, with their delusions of power and service. They are a disgrace and must be replaced by strong, pro-action conservatives ASAP.
Both mine are already gone home for Christmas. Corker is gone in Jan. Lamar Alexander in 2020. RINOS both. TRUMP HATERS BOTH.
