A new poll reveals that very few Americans say that illegal immigration is not a problem.
A wide-ranging Economist/YouGov survey gauged the level of concern Americans have on the issue to find that only 7 percent of the overall public say illegal immigration is “not a problem”; 2 percent of Republicans, 7 percent of independents and even 12 percent of Democrats agree with the statement.
Amid non-stop news coverage of the President Trump’s battle to fund a border wall and the Central American caravan, the poll suggests that public worry is pronounced — almost two thirds says illegal immigration is a serious problem, with some predictable partisan divides. Here’s what the survey found:
• 40 percent of Americans overall say illegal immigration in the U.S. is a “very serious problem”; 73 percent of Republicans, 38 percent of independents and 15 percent of Democrats agree.
• 22 percent overall say illegal immigration is a “somewhat serious problem”; 19 percent of Republicans, 21 percent of independents and 26 percent of Democrats agree.

Sounds like they polled 7% illegal aliens.
Most of those 7% are illegal immigrants. You don’t have to prove citizenship to answer a pollster.

Not sure I trust this poll (I’ve never heard of the polling organization), but even if the number of “don’t care’s” is two times seven percent, or even three times seven percent, this is what Nancy Pelosi has chosen to set herself in opposition to.
If the number is three times 7%, Pelosi has sided with 21% of the population against the other 79%.
Her 21% is rabid, foaming-at-the-mouth passionate, but it’s a minority.
Rush Limbaugh told many times about how when he was a young broadcast specialist he found out that if you did a show on psychic phenomena the switchboard would light up with a huge amount of calls from people who could talk for hours about their favorite subject, but in reality no one was listening. A small minority of very passionate listeners were melting the phone lines, but other than that small audience, everyone else was tuning in to some other station.
African dictators also use their populations as cannon fodder to get attention.
Yet those same Americans hand the House over to the Rats.
Too bad the GOP didn’t get the Border Wall done when they had power, huh?

Of course if was a Washington Compost poll, it would have been just 7% of Americans want the wall.
The WaPo really does put “manipulated by radical progressives” in every poll they do.
I believe that at least 75% of Americans BELIEVE that illegal immigration IS a problem they may not admit it openly but I believe it IS the way they feel!!! This would include LEGAL immigrants!!!!
I agree with you. People lock their doors at night. They know the difference between safe and unsafe policy on the border.
They just won’t admit it.
Even those that want the country full of illegal alien voters know that they are intentionally creating an unsafe environment. Their agenda is hidden and sinister so they can’t acknowledge the truth in public.
93% of Americans should realize that the uniparty congress is a significant problem, as it does NOT properly represent the actual will of the people.
The uniparty only cares about keeping the murder of babies legal, the borders wide open, saving duf Erf from non-existent threats, bashing white straight Christian males, and destroying market capitalism.

I have no sympathy for anyone who steals identity, obtains fraudulent papers, lives off social services without having put onto the system, or takes jobs illegally. Those are all criminal acts or hogh misdemeanors in my mind
