Saturday was another day, with another meeting between the Trump administration and Congress, and still no breakthrough on the shutdown. So it’s back to the drawing board on Sunday. The two sides met for over two hours just like they met on Friday with the same results: nothing, nada, zip. But Donald Trump befuddled Nancy Pelosi with some questions that left her mind reeling.
During one of the meetings, Trump asked Pelosi:
“Why does everyone want to impeach me, Nancy?”
To which Pelosi replied that no one wanted to impeach him, and tried to move back to border security. But the President didn’t let that slide, and he then zinged her about her Catholicism:
“The Vatican has walls. The Vatican has walls surrounding the city. You like the Vatican, Nancy?”
Actually, I would’ve rather he challenged her about why she called a border wall an “immorality” yet has no problem with funding abortion. How does that square up with her Catholic faith?
Pelosi’s answer showed that once again, Donald Trump befuddled her.
“Let’s change the subject, sir.”
A source says that Pelosi took the comments “not well.” I’m pretty sure Trump was laughing on the inside.

She’s a pretty tough gal when she is in front of a friendly media crowd.
Not so tough when face to face with a true alpha male asking her direct questions.
Trump has her number. For some reason he treats her more kindly than other people who attack him.
She claims abortion is “central” to her Catholic faith.
Hers, maybe, but not mine.
Keep them off balance and on the defensive

The Dems know this......and that is precisely part of the plan.
To sow confusion among the electorate....than blame all of their failures on Repubs.
All their bluster and bravado.....they are more like invaders.....an army waging war on a peaceful people.

PARENTHETICAL PHRASES ADDED-----The political/cultural melee that would take place (if vengeful
Democrats launched impeachment) would diminish everyone who took the opportunity to join the fight.
Except for Donald Trump. He will appear as the one man, flaws and all, who fended off an entire political establishment.
As self-interest is the ultimate (Democrat) currency, Americans (in the voting booth)
will ask: who has done more for them, Trump or the entrenched (Democrat) mob.

One of the very toughest parts of DJT's job must be not being able to bust out laughing when he checkmates one/more of the (D)himmicrats.
Given the frequency with which that must occur, maybe he tells Melania about it at night and they both get the major giggles .. LOL !
Nancy replied “No one wants to impeach him?” Oh, reeeeaaallllyyyy? Let’s get that on the record.
And generates so much mirth.
He shakes her like a maraca. Her rattling eyeballs make the noise.
When VSG-POTUS DJT is asking San Fran Nan these interesting questions, sure hope he is wearing goggles. More likely than not, she is apt to stick a finger in his eye as she attempts to answer (or to avoid an answer).
The woman? is unable to speak with her lips and must resort to an unknown sign language in order to make her point. What would she do if she had no hand(s)!
Gosh, I wish the President would let some of the media in on these discussions. It’s so much fun to watch......;)
This is why Trump included Pelosi in that December meeting in the White House even though she wasn't even the House Speaker yet.
Maybe he has compassion because she has dementia.
I wonder if Trump prefers going up against her rather than Paul Ryan.
trust me, his kindness is killing her on the inside.
She is Speaker of the House of Representatives
To govern, he must show her some degree of respect
She’s sitting there thinking “Doesn’t he KNOW WHO I AM?!?!”
Trump knows that if he trolls here in a polite respectful way she will choke. She’s a choker...
