How about we just keep plastic bags and drop all the other stupidity?
Is he going to ban disposable diapers? They take 500 yrs to decompose in a land fill. And poopy ones are usually put in plastic grocery bags and taken to the outside trash can. Adult diapers would take longer as they are much larger.
Canvas ones, which can be washed.
I recycle them as trash bags for the small cans in bedroom or bathroom, poopy diapers which take 500 yrs to decompose from my grand daughter. Wet trash from cooking that would smell up the house. Get to many they go back to the store to their recycle bin.
I’ve plenty of sturdy canvas ones made that I can wash weekly after a trip to the grocery store. Whose bags have been recycled more than once, same goes for the drink bottles, they get reused for cool fridge water or packing in the cooler frozen.
But the POOOOOOR! They can’t afford to buy canvas bags and washing them costs too!..........................
Listen. Cuomo is missing the boat here. Why should bags be allowed AT ALL?
All retail bags and packaging must be banned. If you want flour, or sugar, grab as much as you can with your hands. If you want milk, or soda, bring a cup.
NO MORE BAGS OR PACKAGING ALLOWED.
If it saves ONE LIFE, it’s worth it.
BYOB?............................
#9 the money raised is split between the stores and the democrat party. It really is. We went thru this in Los Angeles.
Id like to say goodbye to douchebags like Andrew. On a positive note, he is biodegradable.
I haven’t a clue, I recycle and/or reuse all of them I get. Probably all of the above!
Well said!
When I have a choice, I ask for paper bags (military commissary).

On another post I wrote, “The Libs won’t be happy until we’re all naked, living in caves, and only allowed to carry things with our hands.”

P.S. However, I DO believe that a ‘growler’ of beer that you take to a craft brewery yourself for filling IS one of the greatest inventions. Ever. I’m also so old that I remember when A&W Rootbeer was made by hand at each restaurant, and you could bring a jug for them to fill for you to take home. :)
